  • Precision Engineering Workshop

The complimentary cousins that enable an innovator to turn an idea on paper into a product in the real-world, from building the supra modals to CPR devices. The facilities are host to equipment ranging from high-quality lathe machines to various milling and fabrication machines like the planner, jigsaw, and drill press sheet metal jobs.

  • Medtech

The latest edition to Imagineering Lab ecosystem, meets the industrial standard and regulatory compliances in the medical device industry by using high precision reverse engineering combined with the latest 3D printing. The Markforged Metal X Additive Manufacturing setup can produce metal parts with up to 100 microns accuracy with materials like stainless steel for heavy applications, Inconel for aerospace designs, and pure copper for efficient cooling systems..

The National Centre For Flexible Electronics (NCFlexE)

The National Centre For Flexible Electronics was set up as a Centre of Excellence at IIT Kanpur in 2014 with financial support from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, and IIT Kanpur. This Centre's vision is to catalyse the domestic industry's development by integrating intelligence in the form of electronics directly on flexible substrates such as plastics, paper, textiles, or metal foils. The Centre is actively working with many local, national, and international industrial partners to produce indigenous products. The center's printing equipment and labs are open to the centre's industrial project partners and SIIC-incubated startups
